Andrea WittigMaster Christ Centered Yoga InstructorAndrea is a 500 hour level (Master) Holy Yoga Instructor and a certified instructor in Trauma – Sensitive yoga. New Life Yoga started in 2017 out of Andrea Wittig’s desire to share her experience encountering the transformative love of Jesus through Holy Yoga. Andrea turned to yoga in seeking help after 20 years in chronic pain. Then she found Holy Yoga and realized that yoga could do so much more than offer relief to her physical pain. A Christ centered yoga practice has been a space she has found her own healing and purpose. She started New Life Yoga to help people holistically heal and find a thriving purpose filled life!
Andrea’s Therapeutic Christ Centered Yoga teaching and classes help individuals reconnect with their breath, bodies and emotions in a safe and non-judgmental environment. She has learned that restoration & healing occurs best when the whole person is treated - heart, soul, mind, and body. Therapeutic Christ Centered Yoga offers a unique holistic approach that speaks to the spiritual, energetic, emotional, psychological and physical parts of the self. Therapeutic Christ Centered Yoga provides a place to come and be mindful of how the wounds of the past are carried in the body and gives tools for emotion-regulation and healing in the presence of others who are pursuing their own healing. |

Kat SteckerHolistic ChefHi I’m Kat Stecker, Founder and CEO of NutrioCare; a personal holistic chef service located in the greater Chicagoland area. I credit my father for my love for cooking. Whenever Dad was in the kitchen I was always by his side. Taste testing was my job but secretly I was stowing every experience away. When I stepped into my own, I brought with me those many years. I’ve since worked as a sous chef.
I’ve also worked in the catering business and dinner prep services. It was in this season my culinary skills were perfected and my interest as a personal chef was born. My journey is not without its own twist and turns. After being diagnosed with Fibromyalgia I began to search for answers. Traditional medicine brought me little to no relief of my symptoms. My journey lead me alongside holistic professionals, doctors of functional medicine and chiropractic’s; finally landing me at the Nutritional Therapy Association where I studied the holistic approach to the power of food and earned my Functional Nutritional Therapy certificate. I continued my education and pursued a certificate in Environmental Wellness. I help my clients understand the impact of environmental toxins and chemicals found in our food supply, cleaning supplies and all the way down to the very tools we use in our kitchens for food storage and meal preparation. I’m continuing to grow in what I call kitchen wellness and a sustainable kitchen. When not cooking for my clients you’ll find me in my kitchen with my own chef sidekick, my husband. I love taking walks, sitting around a camp fire, gardening and spending time with my family. I enjoy geeking out on anything that helps me broaden my understanding on nutrition and the processes of the body When It comes to food my greatest joy is in bringing friends and family around the table not only with food that is bursting with flavor but also that my dishes offer a wealth of life with its nutritional benefits. |
